Fly Around Alaska / Arkansas has been an industry Pioneer in accelerated flight training for the last 10 years. Why delay your airline career by spending time flying with schools that drag you along and run up the Hobbs. Flight schools have realized there is a cash cow in training pilots. Fly Around Arkansas takes a completely different approach to training, instead of stretching out students’ training and forcing them to re-learn every time they return. We have developed a strict training program of 3 - 8-hour days with a combination of ground school and flying. We immerse you into learning the systems of the aircraft and with focused training in the aircraft to save you money.
Before your program begins, you will complete our online prep course that will teach you multi-engine systems, procedures, maneuvers, and performance. On the first 2 days of your program, you will complete rigorous flight training with your check ride on day three or four depending on weather, scheduling, and DPE availability.
A multi-engine rating is required if you want to work for an airline. And most professional pilot positions will have you flying a multi-engine plane. This rating allows you to be a pilot-in-command of any aircraft with more than one engine. The quality of your education for a multi-engine rating is critical since this rating is one of the most challenging.
· To obtain your multi-engine rating you are required to have already earned a private
pilot certificate.
For a multi-engine rating, there is not an FAA written exam. Instead, you will need to complete a multi-engine training course.
Once you are professionally trained in handling a multi-engine aircraft, you’ll put your new knowledge to the test for a check ride. (check ride not included).
